Aesthetics Consultation: What to Expect

During your aesthetics consultation, it's all about you and your goals. We start by discussing what you hope to achieve through aesthetic treatments. We explore various options and how they might benefit you. Often, combining treatments can yield better results than a single approach.

Do You Need a Consultation if You've Had Treatments Before?

Absolutely! Each aesthetics practitioner has unique techniques, products, and methods. Discussing your past treatments helps us plan the best future treatments tailored specifically to your needs, ensuring a seamless and effective approach.

Do Aesthetic Treatments Hurt?

Many aesthetic treatments involve injectables. We use very small needles that are generally well tolerated by most people. Some areas are more sensitive, but Dr. Izzy will explain what to expect for each procedure. Our high-quality dermal fillers often contain local anesthetic, which, combined with our anesthetic cream and Dr. Izzy's expertise, ensures minimal discomfort.

Beyond Aesthetics: What Else Can Botox Help With?

Botox isn't just for wrinkles. It can also alleviate symptoms such as teeth grinding, jaw clenching, migraines, headaches, and excessive sweating in areas like the armpits, palms, soles, and hairline. Our free introductory consultation is the perfect time to explore all these options.

How Long Does Botox Take to Work?

Botox typically takes about 6-14 days to reach its full effect.

How Long Does Botox Last?

The duration varies depending on the dose, location, and your symptoms, but most Botox treatments last between 3-5 months.

The Risks of Cheap Botox Clinics

While saving money is important, your safety and satisfaction should come first. There's currently no regulation on who can administer Botox and dermal fillers, leading to potential risks if performed by unqualified individuals. Complications from poorly administered injectables can include serious issues like blindness and necrosis. Often, cheaper treatments use lower quality products that don't last as long or work as well and can cause complications like granulomas and infections.

Safety and Common Concerns: What Can Go Wrong with Botox?

Botox is safe when administered by a professional with a thorough understanding of facial anatomy. Rare complications include allergic reactions. More common issues can include eyelid drooping, eyebrow drooping, and asymmetry. These risks are minimized through proper anatomical assessment, knowledge of facial structures, and safe injection techniques.

Does Botox Make Your Face Stop Moving?

Botox reduces nerve signals to muscles, affecting movement. Some prefer a more pronounced effect, while others prefer retaining some movement. This can be discussed during your consultation to tailor the treatment to your preferences. Botox injections in other facial areas, such as the hairline or jaw muscle, do not cause facial immobility.

Do You Have to Keep Getting Botox Once You Start?

No, Botox can be used as needed. It might be for a special event or to manage seasonal issues like excessive sweating. Continuous treatment is not necessary unless you choose to maintain the effects, which many clients appreciate.

Will Filler Make Me Look Plastic?

No, Dr. Izzy specializes in natural-looking filler injections, focusing on subtle enhancements that restore what is naturally lost with age. All injections are customized to your face shape and structure to ensure a natural-looking outcome.
