Meet The clinic Owner

Luke Watson is the lead osteopath, men’s health consultant, and founder of Body Zest. At his core, he is both a dedicated family man and an ambitious business owner. He lives in Surrey with his wife Laura, who is also the clinic’s co-director, and their young son. Balancing family life with his passion for helping people move better is a central part of who he is.

Luke describes himself as a health-conscious person who is constantly exploring new ideas, therapies, and approaches to improve wellbeing. Whether he’s experimenting with strategies in his own training or digging into the latest research, he is always looking for ways to support his patients with the best possible care. He stays active through running, weight training, and keeping up with rehab exercises for his own past injuries. He doesn’t claim to be at the extreme end of fitness, but he maintains a solid level of activity, regularly running at half-marathon distances and training consistently in the gym.

His journey into osteopathy followed a path many practitioners recognise. Luke began his career as a personal trainer, where he discovered a love for working one-on-one with people to improve their health. But he always felt called to do more. After injuring his back, he saw an osteopath for the first time and discovered an entirely new world of functional movement, rehabilitation, and hands-on care. That experience inspired him to train as an osteopath, completing four years of study before starting his clinical career.

Body Zest began when Luke took over an existing practice in Banstead. The clinic already had a strong community feel, but he knew he wanted to evolve it. His vision was clear: maintain high-level expertise and quality care while creating a modern, relaxed environment that felt comfortable and welcoming. He believes patients want excellent results without the overly clinical, medicalised atmosphere that many traditional practices still have. At Body Zest, he has worked to create a space that strikes this balance – professional, knowledgeable, and warm.

Luke and his team see a wide variety of conditions and welcome people from all walks of life. Although Body Zest offers specialist services such as sports injury treatment and men’s health care, the heart of the clinic is supporting everyday people who want to live well, move better, and feel free from discomfort. To ensure consistency, every therapist is trained to deliver the same high standard of care, regardless of who a patient sees.

One of Luke’s core values is communication. Before owning the clinic, he treated many patients who shared the same experiences: being given painkillers by their GP, waiting months for physiotherapy, and receiving a generic sheet of exercises with little explanation or support. Those encounters shaped his belief that truly patient-centred care requires more time, more listening, and a more holistic plan. He saw firsthand how many people felt lost within the NHS process – passed between departments, left without answers, or given quick fixes that didn’t solve the underlying issue. When he took over Body Zest, Luke made it his mission to address that gap. Every patient who walks through the door is listened to, taken seriously, and given a personalised plan that considers both their short-term needs and long-term wellbeing.

Today, Luke leads Body Zest with a clear purpose: to provide expert care with genuine compassion, helping people move better, feel better, and live with confidence.
